School Board

Each year, the District School Board (DSB) provides families with a variety of information regarding specific District policies, rules, and programs. The Family Information Guide (Guide) contains a wealth of information about the District including the Student Code of Conduct, as well as information about privacy rights, important dates, and more.

Additional information regarding local school programs, including school clubs and student organizations, can be found on individual school websites. In addition, many local schools also publish individual school student handbooks. If you have any questions about the information contained in the Guide, please contact your local school administrator to discuss your questions. The Department of Education requires that we keep a record that shows all parents and guardians received the Guide. Please take the time to review the information contained in the Guide and complete the attached Receipt of Family Information Guide to document your review of the Guide and return the form to your child’s school.
